The specialised coating on both sides of our stocked backer boards are ready to be tiled or plastered straight away. Eliminating the need for any extra steps or drying processes. And the extruded polystyrene core helps to act as both a water resistant layer, repelling water. And helps to thermally insulate any room.
Thanks to the foam core, our tile backer boards are ideal for use with all electric under floor heating such as Warmup & Fastnet.
These strong, flexible and lightweight boards come in the easy to handle size of 1200×600. And in a variety of different thicknesses ranging from 6mm to 20mm.
Our tile backer boards can be fixed to any existing substrate. They can be securly screwed with the use of specialised galvanised washers with an appropriate screw. Or they can be stuck with a suitable flexible tile adhesive. Top tip! You can always use both methods if your worried about weights!
